General Architecture

Speaknosis utilizes a secure and robust architecture built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This architecture is designed to protect patient information and ensure HIPAA compliance at every stage of the process. The system is divided into key components that work together seamlessly, while maintaining strict data separation and access controls.

Here's a simplified overview of how Speaknosis works:

  1. Secure Audio Capture: Conversations are recorded through a secure interface, with audio data divided into small, encrypted chunks.

  2. Encrypted Storage: These audio chunks are stored securely in Google Cloud Storage, with options for healthcare providers to manage their own dedicated storage.

  3. AI-Powered Transcription: The audio chunks are processed by our AI engine, which transcribes the conversations and removes any personally identifiable information (PII) to protect patient privacy.

  4. Report Generation: Speaknosis generates comprehensive and personalized reports based on the transcribed conversations, providing valuable insights for healthcare providers.

  5. Secure Delivery: Reports are delivered securely only to the owner user, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.

This architecture ensures that patient data is protected at all times, while providing healthcare providers with the valuable insights they need. The following sections will delve deeper into each component of the architecture and explain our security measures in more detail.
